- From South Queensferry, follow the brown Hopetoun House tourist signs. Use postcode EH30 9RW only to reach Farquhar Terrace, then follow the signed road for about 1.5 miles. Visitor parking is free with a valid admission ticket.

- 2026 season: 3 April–27 September, Thursday–Monday, 11am–5pm; last entry 4pm. Closed Tuesday and Wednesday plus selected private-event dates.
- Hopetoun House visitor entrance via South Queensferry — follow brown signs from EH30 9RW; do not approach from the A904
- Do not follow Sat Nav toward the Bo’ness Road/A904—there is no visitor access from that side. Follow brown tourist signs from South Queensferry. The house is seasonal and closed Tuesday and Wednesday; check closure dates for private events.
